Abstract

Recently, many source models have been developed to emulate moreor less precisely all kinds of traffic sources. In this paper,we employ various source models to investigate their influenceon the performance of High Speed Local Area Networks (HSLANs).Our investigations are carried out for two well-known HSLANs,namely FDDI-II and DQDB.
